Our First Eat The Street!
Posted on 01 April 2017
Our first Eat The Street event is in the books! What a great night! Honestly, it wasn't the best in terms of set up, or sales, or lighting (lol), but it was a great opportunity to get out there, meet some new people, see some old faces, and (hopefully) get a little more traction locally, here in the eight-oh-eight. We had a great time anyways. Don't get us wrong, the event was outstanding! The weather was perfect, the food was delicious (on a side note; whatever that smell was - either the funnel cakes or the donuts - was MESMERIZING!!!), and there were a ton of people enjoying the event and the music. However, it was just a little slow for our particular booth. It was a little bit of a bummer earlier in the night, realizing that people were at "Eat The Street" to eat and not to shop (like, no duh right?) BUT, we soon realized that every thing we do is an opportunity to get better. Next time: better lighting, better signage, arrange our booth a little differently. Keep on improving. Keep on grinding. Don't give up. If you read our last post, it was about continuing to push through all the obstacles and doubt. Last night was a very good example of that.
We hope to see you at the next Eat The Street event. Please stop by, say hi, and share some thoughts and let us know if you can find out what that delectable aroma was (hahaha). They're doing it again each and every Friday night at the Kaka'ako Park on the corner of Ala Moana and Cooke St. Our schedule is going to be as follows:
April 14, April 28, May 19, and May 26.
Don't forget, Easter is coming up soon too! Hope everyone has a wonderful day, and keep on pushing!
Love, Team C2BK
